Berry Crumble Recipe

This delicious Berry Crumble recipe combines your favourite berries with a magnificent crumble topping, and it goes PERFECTLY with ice cream! For this week’s recipe blog, we share with you how to make this amazing snack, that makes great use of any extra berries you have laying around. This recipe can be created with any berries you like! In ours, we included both blueberries and strawberries, but what you choose is entirely up to you! The only tools you'll need for the job are The Pan, measuring cups/spoons, and something to stir with that won't scratch the nonstick layer of the pan.

Total Time: 1 hour 20 minutes to prepare, and 40 minutes to cook.

 

What you’ll need to make Berry Crumble:

For the amazing crumble topping

  • ¾ cup of all-purpose flour
  • ¾ of brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup of unsalted butter, cold and sliced into half inch cubes
  • 1 cup of oats
  • A pinch of salt
 

For the flavorful filling

  • 4 cups of your favorite berries
  • ¼ cup of white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
 

How to prepare the dish:

 

For the amazing crumble topping

  1. Combine all of the crumble ingredients. Firstly, add in the flour, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt and stir in the oats. Then, add in the butter and mix it until the mixture forms crumbs.
  2. Refrigerate this mixture while you create the berry filling.
 

For the flavorful filling

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
  2. Combine your favorite berries, white sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla in The Pan. Then, sprinkle the crumble overtop it.
  3. Bake this in your oven for approximately 40 minutes, check after 35 minutes have passed to see if the crumble has browned and the filling is bubbly. If so, it is ready.
  4. Top off with an ice cream of choice. (Optional)
